There And Back - Permanent Hiatus
Television Without Pity always provides some of the most snarky and entertaining show recaps EVER. So I expected nothing less than the best for their recap of There & Back. I wasn’t disappointed.
An excerpt:
[Ashley and Jacob Underwood(also formerly of O-Town)] put the toy chest in the room and clean it, and then bring in Tiffany for her surprise. Tiffany looks nice. She says that the toy chest is awesome and cute. It’s kiiiind of cute, but it has a little ladder and built in slide that would seem to make it 1) impractical for storing toys and stuff and 2) dangerous for a small child. It’s kind of like the superficially okay-looking yet actually cheap, crap-ass piece of furniture that you see on Trading Spaces. Tiffany seems to be surprised that she likes it. She tells Ashley that she loves him, and it is all sweetness until you remember poor Jacob. As Jacob is leaving, he tells Ashley to think of him if he has any more projects. Does this mean that Ashley actually hired Jacob to do this? Oh, it’s all kind of sad. But not as sad as the shot of Jacob getting into his rusty white and turquoise 1988 Ford Econoline and riding off into further relative obscurity.

And now the bad news - There & Back is headed for Permanent Hiatus. I think that’s fancy language for - CANCELLED.
Goodbye, Ashley. *sniff* It was fun while it lasted…
UPDATE!!! There & Back aired tonight… clearly I was mistaken about this cancelled business. I’ll let you know when I know more!

I thought the toy chest was cute! Although, Jacob seemed to do all the work and not really be thanked by anyone.
I’m glad it’s not cancelled. I love this show, but I missed the last episode.
