Seems that the Queen Bee of MTV’s PoweR Girls, Lizzie Grubman, might need to work her PR magic when it comes to her personal life.
Never mind the time she ran over a crowd of people with her SUV while partying in the Hamptons, she has now officially nabbed someone else’s husband. And by officially, I mean she got a rock and a proposal.
As The New York Post reports:
PR princess Lizzie Grubman agreed to marry her Prince Charming — after his romantic proposal in the socialite’s living room yesterday, The Post has learned.
Grubman, who stole fiancé Chris Stern from a former employee who was married to him, is said to have responded with a definitive “yes” after he got down on one knee.
A large rock was reportedly proffered — and the old-fashioned guy even went to Grubman’s lawyer dad, Alan, to ask for her hand.
While the a date for the nuptials has not been set, there should be no problem with Stern moving in.
The Sean John marketing executive lives in the apartment next door to Grubman, and the pair are said to be making plans to combine their plush abodes.
Grubman and Stern have denied their relationship in the past, after The Post’s Page Six revealed it to his shocked wife in April.
Joyce Sevilla — once Mrs. Stern — quit working for her boss Grubman after discovering through the gossip page that her husband had taken up with the party girl.
Sounds like a match made in heaven. The kind that doesn’t last longer than 11 months.
