Nick Lachey, Ladies Man

nicklovetriangeUs Weekly, my source for all things true and holy, brings the scoop about the Nick/Kristin/Vanessa love triangle:

On March 25, Nick Lachey and Kristin Cavallari – who had their first sleepover three nights before – made it a Blockbuster night, hanging at the singer’s $5.5 million home in the Bel Air section of L.A. with a delivery dinner and a slew of videos. “Nick and Kristin are officially dating,” says a Cavallari pal. “They are talking and texting all the time. He’s always sending her notes, making her laugh. It’s cute!”

So how did the ex-boy-bander – who has been insisting to pals that he’s not ready for a girlfriend – get so caught up in love? “She basically tracked him down for weeks,” a pal says of the Laguna Beach vixen, famous for her ability to manipulate the opposite sex. “If she heard he was going to a club, she would make sure she was there. She worked it!”

But maybe not hard enough. On March 27, Nick was spotted in NYC with MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo, who recently starred in the video for his single “What’s Left of Me.” According to sources, the pair was being “extremely affectionate” while hanging out at Underbar in the W hotel. Now the couple can’t seem to get enough of each other — the following night they were seen sharing a romantic dinner at Fiamma and enjoying cocktails at 60 Thompson.

Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson has practically fallen off the face of the earth. Am I the only one who wouldn’t mind if she stayed that way for awhile?
