Danity Kane?

Ok, so I’m not the biggest “Making the Band” fan. Unless you are referring to the original cast formerly known as O-Town whom I *might* have seen perform at the California State Fair a few years back. And I *might* have been in the second row, but that’s neither here nor there.
So the “band” from season 2 or 3 (or whatever the deal is with this current cast) has finally come up with a name. As I recall, good old O-Town was simply told by Lou Pearlman what their name was to be and that was that. Why can’t Diddy be a little more authoritative?
Nonetheless, Reality Blurred (as always) fills us in:
The five-member all-female group formed on last season of Making the Band 3 has a name: Danity Kane. The group appeared on MTV’s TRL last month and revealed the name.
Entertainment Weekly’s Kate Sullivan points out that the name is “the name of a female anime superhero Dawn draws,” but says that as a group name, it’s “worse than Dream. That’s worse than the WB’s Popstars band, Eden’s Crush. (Well, maybe not.)”
Their first single, “Show Stopper,” also debuted last month, and is available on the group’s MySpace page. The third season of the show is currently airing Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
Good thing they have a MySpace page because, really, what did we ever do without it?
Aahhh the good old days of the first season. haha.. O-Town. hmm I MIGHT have seen them at HOB for like $10 when they first came out. Might have. Maybe.
I was the oldest one there I think, but I rocked out with the best of em.

i luv danity kane their music always makes sense and they aint like some of these grops thatz only in it 4 the money!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t have anything negative about the groups but in general I hate the “Making the Band” shows. They are stupid and I don’t like P.Diddy or whatever he wants to call himself now.

I could not agree with the previous comment more! Puff is a condencending/arrogant/disrispecful cocaroach! I makes us look bad.. I especially do not appreciate the way he treats young talented artists who earned their place such as D Woods and Aubrey.. I mean my sisters they gave him 3 yrs on and they worked hard.. only to get NO MONEY not even in 2008 during the Christina Aguilera tour..Diddy is known as the artist rapist!
Look at all the artists and groups that are no longer w/ badboy.. I am greatful for the ones that signed with other record labels otherwise I would not have my precious LL Cool J! I say to D Woods and Aubrey RUN far from that cocaroach and take this as a GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD!

I support the 2 ladies and know they have ICON potential.. look do u think Janet Jackson, Pink, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Miss E, Angela Basset, Vivica Fox (all beutifully enhanced by their own choice “Hollywood”dream)
Can you imagine these talented women ever sitting back with their tail between their legs as (Andrea & Dawn) did? I’m relieved at least Aubrey and D Woods have the CHARACTER and can articulate because in this business you MUST have it!
