The Real World Las Vegas Reunion - A Sneak Peek at the Cast
The Baltimore Sun’s TV columnist checked out a promo for the Real World Las Vegas reunion and reports back with what the cast has been up to for the past five years. Here’s the scoop:
Brynn, as mentioned is married with two kids. Not only that, but she’s actually married to Austin, the guy she met right before leaving for the show who came to visit her during the season.
Frank has returned to school and is determined to have fun and not care whether he makes a fool out of himself. So business as usual, except he might not be turning down lap dances like he was in 2002.
Steven is back in school and working as a personal trainer.
Trishelle is trying to make it as an actress and is super-blonde.
Irulan, who, as you might recall, dated Alton for three years after they were on the show together, is in New York working as a photographer and dating someone else.
Alton is starting a business and has a new girlfriend.
Arissa is a painter and trying to be centered.
I think this will make for a mighty interesting show!!!

I dont ordinarily follow all the real worlds, actuallly there was only one that I never missed and that was Real World Las Vegas, LOVED IT!! and so happy to see them come back, even if for a little bit!!! totally excited to see what kind of drama transpired !! :)

Reunion and was very upset when Irulan attacked
Arissa about something that happened 5 years ago. Irulan still has feelings fro Alton and i think that she should be ashamed of herself for treating Arissa so badly. I feel sad for Arissa because she doesn’t have any family support and have to endure that kind of abuse from her so called friends should really hurt her. I used to like Irulan…. but not anymore….. and so far as Alton i believe that he did try to kiss Arissa and is just lying because he want to get Irulan back in bed. I feel that he will be able to get Irulan back in bed because she is soooo
weak! Arissa if you read this girl…. keep your head up and i will keep you in my prayers. I hope that Arissa will not stoop to their level and just have a wonderful time while she is there.

Either way..Regardless of who initiated the “kiss” Irulan SHOULD not be trippin like that For real!
I loved Irulan in the Actual series, but now she is a straight up B**Ch… After 5 years, you would thinks he would have gotten over a KISS…she should not be starting an altercation over kissing if she CHOSE to stay with Alton.
However, I do think she could have confronted Arissa in a better way…Nicer at best. That is def a convo that needed to be done, but Irulan getting so upset shows that there are unresolved feelings.
No one actually got to see THE WHOLE LAS VEGAS EXPEREINCE.. we really only know what MTV edited …so the characters of Alton, Arissa, and Alton are all edited portrayals of MTV….so we cant judge whether Arissa is FOR SURE the Victim or if Alton is….but …I will say that IRULAN needs to grow up… …and move on….. If I was her bf…Id let her go just because she was acting like that:)

I kinda think Arissa looks sick…She looks so different now…
Still gorgeous of course…but I was surprised on the casting show to hear that she enjoys cooking..She sure doesnt look like she is eating any of it

I was so excited to find out that they were actually doing a reunited show for them. This cast was by far my favorite, followed by Real World Hawaii. I haven’t seen any other Real World / RR since Vegas - they seemed to pail in comparison.
I will say that Irulan still has some unresolved feelings with Alton for her to carry on the way she did. You would think that since their business was aired all over the airwaves they would tone it down some.
Hopefully they will come to some resolve over that. As for Frank, he was just a forgetable five years ago as he is now. Can’t wait to watch next week.
Job well done MTV. I’ve always been curious to see what past cast members are doing years later. I think you guys are on to something there.

I also think that Arissa look sick…. i pray that her weight loss is just from stress…… and nothing else. You know she has a terrible mother who called her a bitch. My God the poor girl don’t have any family support and has to endure all of that abuse from her so called friends. Irulan is a bitch and i don’t like her anymore! That blond….. i can’t remember her name is a bitch also….. they are all conspiring against my girl Arissa. Frank better watch out he might sleep with a man…. because there are a lot of transvestites who had surgery to become a woman that hang out in Las Vegas…..lol. Well any way i am going to pray for my girl Arissa. Keep your head up Arissa….. and you are still beautiful. :)

What is up with Irulan? Arissa should have told both Alton and Irulan that she was not even going to entertain what happened 4-5 years ago if for no other reason than because people justify their actions differently and over the course of time their recollection of what may or may not have happened will be different. Arissa, should have told her “if we have all moved on, what difference should it make what happened in the past…why are you trying to hold on…let it go…I have and obviously he has”
