Interview with Dani from “A Shot at Love!”
I know that a lot of you guys are rooting for Dani Campbell to get the final key from Tila Tequila in the last episode of A Shot at Love. So I am pretty sure you’ll like this interview she gave to After Ellen.
Here’s a taste:a
AE: What was your honest reaction when you found out that Tila is bi?
DC: You know what? I don’t care. If I like somebody, I’m going for them. If they’re showing me they have interest, that’s just how I roll, I guess. I’ll approach a straight girl, gay girl, whatever, so when she said that it didn’t really shock me too much.AE: You’ve described yourself as “futch” with an F. What does that mean?
DC: It’s kind of a cross between a femme and a butch. I’m not femmey by any means, and I don’t like to consider myself butch either. I’ve seen the extreme on both ends, and I feel like I’m somewhere in the middle there, so I put the two words together and called it “futch.” I mean, I’m not claiming ownership of that word, but I guess since I’ve been on the show, it’s like my term now. [laughs]

Well, I’m not on the Dani bandwagon. I think Bobby is the best match for Tila. Sure, Dani may seem cool and real and all that jazz, but I believe Bobby should come out the winner… I’m not sure if Bobby is the one, because I don’t believe Tila’s spiel about looking to settle down and looking for love, but I think he’ll do for now… Tila seems to set in her ways to settle down right now.
Besides, from the facial expressions she was making everytime the girls would win a competition made it seems she was hoping to spend time the guys… I think Tila really likes the tough and rugged nature of a man. I mean, for the straight women, who can resist the masculinity of a man? I love it when my man caresses me and makes me feel safe in his arms. =)

I used to like Dani… but after last nights episode i just don’t like her. Amanda is right, she IS too over confident in herself. confidence is good, but its just too much. she’s just kinda blah to me anyways. bobby should win. he’s hot and he really really loves tila. if dani loves her, she doesnt show it as affectionately as bobby does to me.

First I just wanted to say that I am very much a Dani fan and would jump on her if she walked by (not literally folks!). I definitely would love to get to know her.
But about the term “Futch”…that’s been around for quite a while. Maybe not in Ft. Laudy (being next to Miami that’s surprising), but up here in NJ/NY it’s not a new term.

After watching the whole season, I have to say that I hope that Tila picks Bobby…..ONLY because I think Dani is such a wonderful person and she deserves better than Tila. I give Tila props for making something out of her life from nothing. I don’t agree with her methods, but she’s secure with herself and that’s great. Both Bobby and Dani deserve love. I think they both genuinely care for Tila. I still don’t buy the fact that Tila is capable of treating either one of them the way that they deserve to be. I hope that if Dani doesn’t end up with Tila, that she could star in her own show for a real quest for love. She’s awesome!!!!
