I have never been more appalled and disgusted by human nature after watching this last gauntlet finale. Eric’s collapse and his teammates raw animalistic greed is errily reiminiscent of a tragic scene to the classic novel “Lord of the Flies”. I would never guess that a person would choose 30 thousand dollars over a human life in a matter of seconds. Even though they were all subject to high stress and abnormal conditions you know what kind of person you are when money wins out in an instant over human life. What if this man had died? Which is not an unrealistc scenario. THere have been a number of NFL player deaths due to heat and exhaustion; who were more than likely in better shape then Eric was. What would have been his teammates responses if he had actually died, would they still be as concerned with the money? Based on their own admittances that they were planning on “dragging him down the beach” and letting him “choke on his own vomit” i’m guessing they still would have been pissed at Eric for f-ing up their chances of winning by dying. I’ve never been so upset at a scene from a reality t.v. show before, but the scary reality is that this happens every day - probably thousands of times a day people are being, either killed or left behind to die over trivial financial gain, but in this case there was a face and a person attached to the incident and I hope viewers got a strong lesson in charity and tolerance that day, because I know I did.

I completely agree. As a matter of fact, if MTV continues to allow and enable such criminal behavior they should be held accountable by the law at some point. CT, the hideous “Evelyn” and whomever the random red head is should be banned from all shows in the future for their blatant physical abuse of another teammate. Brad, for the most part, you are all class boy..

Isn’t it funny that the whole time the boys on the vet team kept saying they had to cut the fat, by eliminating all the “girls” they’d been carrying through the whole challenge? In fact, they didn’t cut the biggest “fat” of all. Watching this was very satisfying in that what goes around comes around…

I’m still watching the final episode, and can not believe what I am seeing!! The only good human being on the veteran team besides Eric is Brad. The rest of the the team is horrible!! Anyone that can watch somebody become so physically ill and have no compassion is sick!! They didn’t deserve to win, and MTV made a great decision by not rewarding all of these arrogant people!!!! There were definitely a few people that were even worse than the rest of the rotten bunch.
(I’m sure they know who they are) I hope looking back at this experience, they can all realize how awful they behaved!!!!

I agree with all of you. I felt physically sick watching the greed in this team. Esp. Evelyn and CT, gosh have you no shame. the man could be dying and all you care about is 30,000, you should be ashamed of yourselves. The only team member you seemed to care was BRAD- he should be awarded and praised for his human nature. I am disgusted by the rest of this sick team

Wow I haven’t watched it yet but it sounds really horrible how some people are treating their teamates.I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT THOUGH!!!
