Did Jesse Money Get Robbed?
I can’t imagine I’m the only one who thought Jesse Money should not have been the first contestant sent packing on Cradle of Rock.
Highlights from last night:
- Jesse Blaze Snider rocking the hell out of Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell” - The kid is a star already - from his style to his singing to sliding across the stage. It was HOT. And he earned the “untouchable” spot for the week.
- Lara Johnston’s take on Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” - If the judges thought she didn’t connect last week, she improved a hundred times over this week. Judge Jamie King was far of the mark only awarding her a six.
- Crosby Loggins - When he got to the chorus of Gavin DeGraw’s “I Don’t Wanna Be,” he shone. He could probably be better, but, hey, he’s hot.
But the real shocker came when Choe Lattanzi beat out Jesse Money for the final spot, sending Jesse home. I don’t think it will be the last we’ll see of Jesse.

I totally agree! Chloe should of been sent packing! Not only did she screw up her song but she blamed everything from nerves to she couldn’t hear her ‘ears’. I thought Jesse Money would of made way further than she did! :-)

I believe people who voted for Jesse thought they were voting to keep her on, not to send her packing…the announcer was not very clear on that point. Jesse got shafted.

Jesse Blaze Snider seems to be a accomplished singer and performer, I think he will do very well in the competition. Who do you think will end up being his toughest competitors?

Dude, Jesse Blaze Snider all the way. That aside, I don’t like Chloe’s voice at ALL. And one other thing: why does she feel the need to practically hump the stage during every performance? If you’re gonna dance, fine; but at least, learn some moves and practice with somebody like Lara did.

Jesse Blaze is too cocky. He is a good performer but that doesn’t make him a good singer. Jenna James may be a popular porn actress but she will never get an Oscar. Jesse is the Jenna James of Rock the Cradle. If he survives getting voted out this week, I hope that the next competetion will be a rock ballad. Unlike Crosby, Lucy and Lara, Jesse doesn’t have the versatility to do anything but his hard rock act.
