What’s Aubrey O’Day Doing Post Danity Kane… Besides Tongue Kissing her Dog?
April 27, 2009 by Danica
Last week at the finale for Making The Band I caught up with Danity Kane’s biggest troublemaker Aubrey O’Day who had a lot to say about her life after DK. Aubrey is working on her own reality TV show (she’s inked a deal but couldn’t say which network it will be on). Though she’s not looking to release a solo album anytime soon, she is eyeing a career on Broadway. But what’s most important for Aubrey is staying true to who she is whether that means being honest about her bisexuality or admitting that she makes out with her dog. No seriously, watch the video below.

Where Is She Now?: Aubrey O’Day
February 20, 2009 by Danica
She’s not on the latest season of the MTV reality show that made her famous, Making The Band, and she seems to have turned her back on her platinum selling group, Danity Kane, but that doesn’t mean Aubrey O’Day has stepped out of the spotlight. In fact, she (and her little dog) were all over New York for fashion week.
The pic above was taken at Richie Rich’s debut show at the Waldorf Astoria where Aubrey was inspired to get involved in Three Olives Vodka’s recently launched “What’s Your O-Face?” campaign.
There are a lot more pics below the fold.
Dawn Dishes on Aubrey’s Exit from Danity Kane
October 19, 2008 by Shea Sylvia
Diddy pulled the plug on Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods’s participation in Danity Kane this week, firing both girls from the group.
Dawn Richards, one of the three girls still in the group, spoke out to Us Weekly about why Aubrey was let go:
Puff did not like [Aubrey's] image…where her image was going for the group. It wasn’t a personal thing. We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls. So we can’t do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover…. [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can’t do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going.

Aubrey O’Day and Donnie Wahlberg?
September 22, 2008 by Shea Sylvia
Hmmm… that Aubrey O’Day sure does love her Donnies. First she was getting cozy with Making the Band co-star Donnie Klang and now it looks like she has set her sights on none other than NKOTB’s Donnie Wahlberg.
According to the Boston Herald, Aubrey and Donnie D have been hanging out since June, when they went on a “romantic beach date.” According to a source, “the date went better than she expected . . . really well. But I was surprised because I thought Donnie was married.”
Which is, technically, the case. Donnie and his wife filed for divorce in August.
Can Aubrey add “homewrecker” to her resume?

Interview with Making the Band 4’s Donnie Klang
August 21, 2008 by Shea Sylvia
After making it through the grueling audition process on Making the Band 4, Donnie Klang was the first contestant in the show’s history to be awarded a solo record deal instead of becoming part of a group. Donnie took some time to chat with MTV Reality World about his upcoming album, the new season of Making the Band, his friendship with Diddy, and his brief romance with Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day.
MTV Reality World: Tell me how you initially found out about making the band and what your initial audition process was like.
Donnie: When I first found out, I actually, I wasn’t even going to go on the audition because I had been singing a group for about eight or nine years before that and we had broken up. We had deals on the table, we were signed with different managers, and we had gotten so close so many times, but we just got our hearts broken so many times. Then I auditioned for American Idol twice and didn’t make it and just a bunch of stuff that basically broke my heart as far as music goes. I wasn’t even going to go on the audition because I didn’t want to get let down again. What happened was somebody entered my MySpace into a contest where I could cut the line at auditions. I won that contest so I was like, you know, I might as well go. My family was telling me to go and stuff. I went and then basically after that it was like audition after audition and it felt like a dream ever since that day.
That’s awesome. As fans of the show know, you’re the first solo artist to come through Making The Band. When you found out that you weren’t going to be a part of Day 26 and instead would be offered a solo contract, what was going through your head?
Well, first and foremost, it was just a relief to finally get signed. That finale was crazy. It was live; we had Times Square packed out. I found out there were like 60 million people watching. That night was the first night that I ever played piano live for anybody so it was a very emotional, roller coaster night that was up and down. And then, when I thought I was cut and then I found out I made it, my parents were there and stuff, it was a crazy night. I feel like that it worked out better that I got signed as a solo just because it fits, like Day26, I feel it’s perfect the way they are and I think I’m better off as a solo artist.
What’s it like behind the scenes preparing for touring and practicing and everything?
Behind the scenes, it’s rough, especially working for somebody like Diddy. He’s a perfectionist, not only just the media stuff but when it comes to the live shows, he turns it up a notch. It’s rough; it’s a lot of hours of rehearsing. But the cool thing is Making the Band kind of gives fans a glimpse into what it’s like. They get to see rehearsals and behind the scenes and Diddy coming in and yelling at us. It’s really not for TV; it’s real, like he’s coming in and yelling at us like even when the cameras leave, he’s still going off. So it’s cool that the fans get to see first hand like what’s going on.

When MTV Reality Stars Collide
July 30, 2008 by Shea Sylvia
In Touch Weekly, beacon of all things true and accurate, is reporting that Hairspray stars and MTV reality show alums Ashley Parker Angel (conveniently and recently split from fiance Tiffany Lynn) and Aubrey O’Day are more than just co-stars these days (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
Both camps have since denied the pairing, but we all know that when even the lowest of the low brow publications make claims about celebrity romance, there’s at least a tiny sliver of truth.
