Whitney Port was out in Soho yesterday filming scenes for an upcoming episode of The City at Felix Restaurant & Bar.

Word on the street is that MTV producers have enlisted two new recruits to spice up the next season of The City.  According to the NY Post, Olivia Palermo has taken a new job at Elle magazine and can’t be “going wild” for the cameras anymore so MTV has hired two sidekicks for Whit.
Whitney Port held court with two new “friends” who, we hear, will have recurring roles next season. “Their names are Samantha and Roxy, and they are out of control,” says a source. “MTV brought in new party girls because the first season was so boring.”

This whole Whitney and Jay situation is getting a bit complicated.  First, Whitney and her Australian rocker boyfriend broke up on The City.  Later, they briefly reconciled in real life before ultimately calling it quits for good.

According to In Touch, Whitney Port and her Australian rocker dude have broken up for good.  In last week’s episode of The City the couple agreed to take a break while Jay toured with his band Tamarama.  They later reconciled but a snitch told the magazine that it’s over for good.
