I absolutely adore Whitney.  She’s one of the few girls on The Hills who actually appears sane.

It’s Official - Whitney Port Gets Her Own Show

We’ve speculated before and now E! is reporting that it’s true - a Hills spinoff starring Whitney Port has officially been picked up by MTV.
A source has said the show will begin filming immediately and that MTV only picked the show up within the past few weeks.

Rumor has it that Whitney Port will be leaving fashion PR house, People’s Revolution (where Lauren Conrad also presumably works - at least while filming The Hills to do in-house PR for designer Diane Von Furstenberg.
